The last month of summer, the last month of summer movies also. To catch them go to the nearest cinema to cool down in the heat. Just don’t forget the popcorn! 🙂

🍿🍿🍿

3 August – The Dark Tower

As the title indicates, this movie is about The Tower, which is the only thing that stands between light and darkness. Gunslingers are the ones protecting it and there is only one left. Matthew McConaughey as the bad guy is very interesting and every moment we see Idris Elba on screen is a gift. The movie based on the Stephen King’s book promises fantasy and adventure in a parallel world. (OFFICIAL TRAILER)

17 August – The Promise

The film promises a beautiful story inspired by true events, set during the last days of the Ottoman Empire in the first half of the 20th century. With wonderful scenes and costumes the Armenian genocide, still denied until today in the country, is the focus of the movie, attached to a love triangle. The magnificent actors: Charlotte Le Bon, Oscar Isaac and Christian Bale play the main characters. (OFFICIAL TRAILER)

24 August – The Hitman’s Bodyguard

Surprise hits when a hitman finds out he received a bodyguard, twist to the story is that the hitman tried to kill this guy 28 times before! But now they have to work together so both achieve their goals. A true buddy movie with a cool Ryan Reynolds and a tough Samuel L. Jackson, a funny Salma Hayek, and bad guy Gary Oldman. If you’re looking for fun and excitement, this movie is for you! (OFFICIAL TRAILER)

24 August – Logan Lucky

The whole film begins with a man being fired from his job; he is quite problematic anyway with a brother working in a bar, also missing an arm: tell me about weird plots. They need money and plan to pull off a heist during a NASCAR race. Idiots robbing a plan, sounds like fun! Main actors are Channing Tatum and Adam Driver, with Daniel Craig as their helper – definitely not a James Bond kind of movie though. (OFFICIAL TRAILER)
