Downsizing is a method in Alexandre Payne’s movie, where people get shrunk to 5 inches, to live a wealthy life, full of pomp instead of a boring one, where the only aim is to pay off the mortgage. But the change is irreversible and permanent, so one must live with the consequences of a single decision for the rest of their lives. All the Money in The World – 25 January

The making of this movie is probably the most interesting one from the list: because of the sexual harassment allegations against Kevin Spacey, the director Ridley Scott decided to reshoot the movie with Christopher Plummer. It already earned him a Golden Globe nomination and the story is an interesting one, based on true events about the kidnapping of John Paul Getty’s grandson and him refusing to pay the ransom, despite being the richest person in the world. A one-of-a-kind story indeed! (Official trailer)
