WHAT’S IN YOUR BEAUTY BAG?

This month we were poking around in the beauty bag of the beautiful Edyta from Poland. 🙂

V: Do you have some tried and tested beauty tips or beauty routine you could share with us?E : 1. Moisturize your body from the inside: drink water; my tip is to add a slice of lemon and a few pieces of ginger. 2. Make a face peeling once a week to remove dullness and make your skin glowing and look healthy.

V: Do you have a favourite lipstick?
E: I am a big fan of MAC lipsticks. My absolute favourite is MAC Retro Matt lipstick All fired up. It has beautiful rich colour and it’s super long lasting.

V: Is there a beauty product (or more) that you always carry with you in your bag?
E: At least 2 moisturizing lip balms, in case I lose one 🙂

V: Do you have any proverbs or idioms from Poland that relate to beauty?
E: Yes of course, but most of them are quite offensive and slightly rude. I want to be fair, so I will quote one about women and an other about men: “Nie ma brzydkich kobiet, tylko czasem wódki brak ” (In English: There are no ugly women, but sometimes there is just not enough vodka). “Mężczyzna powinien być tylko troche ładniejszy od diabła” (In English: Men should be just a little bit more handsome than the devil.”)
