Popcorn March 2017 – The Movie Guide

Spring, spring, spring makes me want to sing! I wrote in a poem, when I was 9 years old. Well, times change and I’d rather go check out these great movies in the cinema. There is quite a variety this month. Go check out a superhero, an adventure, a historical or a live action movie; one of Disney’s best princess story! And of course, don’t forget the popcorn. 🙂

Logan – 2 March

Hugh Jackman is back as one of the world’s favorite superhero! Logan is the ninth X-Men movie, third Wolverine movie. But oh boy does this look different from the others. Logan is not wearing his leather suit, but seems to be in deep conflict with the world. His mentor Professor X is by his side, as they try to protect a young girl with abilities just as Wolverine’s. Now after the success of the highly acclaimed Deadpool this movie promises honest, bad mouthed, violent scenes, so only watch if you are ready for that! Check out the trailer here.

Kong: Skull Island – 9 March

I know, I know another Kong movie? But believe me this movie seems very promising based on the trailer! And King Kong this time is not the only monster on the island where the soldiers and explorers arrive. Great actors, fantastic CGI and a promising new storyline is what we can expect. If you wish to see a movie full of adventure and excitement, but with a stunning view, this one is your perfect choice, with actors such as Oscar winner Brie Larson, Tom Hiddleston, Samuel L. Jackson and John Goodman. Check out the trailer.

Beauty and the Beast – 23 March

The story is the classical one we all know: the terrible beast with a generous heart can only be freed by true love. Well, what is that if not a happy ending? The movie was rethought with fantastic actors and spectacular scenes. The music is also original and who wouldn’t want to hear the very one, glass ceiling shattering Emma Watson sing Tale as old as time Song as old as rhyme Beauty and the beast? Or watch her in that gorgeous yellow dress dancing in a palace? Aaww indeed! Go check out the star-studded movie with Ewan McGregor, Stanley Tucci, Emma Thompson and Kevin Kline in the cinema. You can find the trailer here.

The Zookeeper’s Wife – 30 March

This movie is based on an incredible true story during the Second World War in Warsaw, Poland. The zookeeper and his wife cannot bare to see the horrors committed by the Nazi troops, so they decide on hiding Jewish people right with the animals. They have the place and they have the heart to do so. Follow the always wonderful Jessica Chastain along with one of Vibes’ personal favorite continental German-Spanish actor Daniel Brühl in a story full of animals, hope and love. Have a look at the trailer 🙂
